SEX DIFFERENCES IN THE PATTERN OF RADIOIODINE EXCRETION IN THE URINE OF INTACT STILBOESTROL-TREATED GUINEA PIGS

Studies on the effect of stilbestrol on the excretion of I/sup 131/ in guinea pigs showed that the female is more stimulated by large doses of stilbestrol and returns more quickly to the normal condition than does the male. Female guinea pigs were not affected as much by small doses of stilbestrol as were males. (C.H.)
