STABILIZATION OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE FORMS OF DICALCIUM SILICATES BY LANTHANOID ORTHOSILICATES (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Zh. Prikl. Khim.
OSTI ID:4758014
Petrographic and x-ray analysis of yttrium orthosilicatecalcium orthosilicate systems indicate a limited system based on calcium orthosilicate solid solution series. The maximum solid solution concentration is 42.5 plus or minus 2.5 wt % of yttrium orthosilicate. Binary calcium silicate modifications higher temperatures the formations demand a larger amount of stabilizing admixtures (La, Nd, and Y orthosilicate). (R.V.J.)
