FIELD AMPLIFICATION OF ZnCdS(Mn) PHOSPHORS UNDER ULTRAVIOLET EXCITATION (in German)

ZnCdS(Mn) phosphors show, under x-ray excitation in alternating electric fields, an amplification of the photoluminescence. Under uv excitation an amplification was also found that is, however, smaller. This amplification is dependent on the wavelength and intensity of the uv excitation. By variation of the intensity, both an amplification and a quenching were found in dependence on the voltage and frequency of the alternating field. The results were discussed and compared with those obtained with x-ray excitation. (tr-auth)
