THE MOMENTUM SPECTRUM OF MUONS UNDERGROUND

A determination has been made of the absolute underground muon spectrum at a depth of 7.2 kg cm/sup -2/ in the range 250 Mev to 100 Bev. Good agreement is obtained with the spectrum calculated for this depth from the sea level spectrum by making reasonable assumptions about energy loss. (auth)
