The characteristics of a liquid hydrogen bubble chamber as they are viewed by a physicist using the negatives are reviewed very briefly. Two experiments made at CERN--one on the interaction of antiprotons created by the accelerator on the protons of the liquid hydrogen and the other on the study of the interaction of pi /sup -/ mesons of very high energy (10 Bev) with the hydrogen---are summarized.
