SPECTROSCOPIC ASPECTS OF FAST NUCLEON REACTIONS WITH LIGHT NUCLEI (in Russian)
An intermediate bond model was used in the evaluation of excitation spectra in (p,np) knock-out reactions. The observed differences in the cross sections for N/sup 14/ (7.3 plus or minus 0.7 mb) and its neighbors C/sup 12/ (29 plus or minus 3.3 mb) and O/sup 16/ (33 plus or minus 5 mb) are explained by C/sup 12/ and O/sup 16/ transitions that are related (almost 100%) to the finite nuclear level, while only 20% of N/sup 14/ transitions are related to the N/sup 13/ ground state with I = 1/2- and 80% lead to the excited state above the nucleon threshold without contributing to N/sup 13/ yields C/sup 13/ BETA decay. Schemes of partial transitions for (p,np) in C/sup 12/, N/sup 14/, and O/ sup 16/ are given. Using Feynman diagram language and the simplest pole diagrams for (p,2p) and (p,np) reactions, it was shown that the shell model (considering residual interactions) is capable of describing the nuclear vertex of diagrams expressing virtual dissociation processes: N/sup 14/ yields C/sup 13/ + p, C/sup 12/ yields C/sup 11/ + n, and etc. Moreover, the model enabl es evaluations of various excited states of finite nuclei with hole characteristics.
