UNIVERSAL DIFFRACTOMETER (Engineering Materials)

The diffractometer is a general purpose machine used for neutron diffraction experiments primarily at the High Flux Beam Reactor. Single crystals and samples may be studied. The diffractometer is designed to accommodate such accessories as magnets, cryostats, or furnaces. The method of operation is by step scanning. (F.L.S.)
