THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ALPHA PLUTONIUM IN COMPRESSION
The effect of temperature, testing speed, and purity on the mechanical behavior of alpha Pu in compression was investigated. The results of the tests were generally similar to those previously reported except that specimen purity was observed to affect the results and a strainaging reaction was also observed. (auth)
