RADIOLYSIS OF BIPHENYL (in Japanese)

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4743760
Biphenyl was irradiated with gamma rays, and the Gvalues of the polyphenyls produced by the irradiation were determined. The reverse isotope dilution technique was applied to determine the G-values of the products, by using G/sup 14/-labeled biphenyl and the liquid elution chromatography. Based on the G-values of all isomers of terphenyl and quaterphenyl, the mechanism of radiolysis of biphenyl was investigated. (auth)
