A MODIFICATION OF THE GREULING-GOERTZEL METHOD (in German)

For a more accurate treatment of the position energy dependent slowing down, a substitute expression was defined, using a procedure developed from the Greuling-Goertzel method, for the first spherical moment of the angular dependent transmission cross section. This substitute expression was used in the discussion of the solution of the momentum equations for the calculation of the slowing down surface. It is shown that for constant cross sections this agrees asymptotically with the solution of the exact problem. However, deviations are obtained when the usual methods are used. (tr-auth)
