Journal Article · · Nature (London)
DOI:https://doi.org/10.1038/1961170a0· OSTI ID:4741496
Microbarographic data recorded at Aberdeen on July 9, 1962, of a wave- train appearing to have originated from the thermonuclear explosion near Johnston Island the same day are compared with data obtained on August 6 and 7, 1962, of a sub-acoustic wave-train from the Russian explosion near Novaya Zemlyia on August 5. Energy levels of the two explosions are discussed. (C.H.)
