EXPERIMENTS ON NEGATIVE RADIATION TEMPERATURE AT CYCLOTRON RESONANCE IN COLD PLASMAS

Journal Article · · J. Phys. Soc. Japan

Experimental results are described which appear to show the negative temperature phenomena at cyclotron resonance in cold plasmas. Measurements of microwave radiation were performed with a 9,000 mc radiometer. The plasmas were sections of the positive columns of d-c hot-cathode discharge in He, Ne, Kr, and Xe. (W.D.M.)
