CHARGED $Sigma$ HYPERONS LIFE TIME (in Russian)

The lifetime of charged SIGMA hyperons registered by magnetic cloud chamber at 1800m above sea level was studied, The technique and method are different from those usually used for measuring the lifetime of SIGMA hyperons. It is shown that lifetimes of SIGMA /sup +/ and SIGMA /sup -/ hyperons agree well with other data. No short-lived component with a lifetime less than 10/sup - 10/ sec was found. (auth)
