S>An analytical continuation of the amplitude of the transition of the processes gamma + p yields K/sup +/ + LAMBDA /sup 0/ and gamma + p yields K/sup +/ + SIGMA /sup 0/ to the pole corresponding to Feynman's diagram, with a SIGMA /sup 0/ or LAMBDA /sup 0/ hyperon in the intermediate state respectively, is made by the extrapolation procedure of Chew and Low. The differential cross section of the above mentioned processes in the pole is associated with the lifetime of a SIGMA /sup 0/ hyperon with respect to the decay SIGMA /sup 0/ yields LAMBDA /sup 0/ + gamma .
