RESONANCES IN A BARYON SYSTEM WITH A STRANGENESS OF /S/ = 1 (in Russian)

The mass insufficiency spectrum, determined on the basis of K/sup 0/- mesons in the pi /sup -/ + N yields K/sup 0/(K/sup 0/) + Y(K, N) + m pi , m = 0.1..., reaction involving bound nucleons of the freon and xenon nuclei, was investigated by means of xenon and freon bubbie chambers. The impulse of the incident pi /sup -/ mesons was 2.8 Bev/c. From the photographs taken, stars were selected, accompanied by sup 0/ events which could be correlated with the point of the interaction. The K/sup 0/-mesons were identified by the angle of divergence of the decay products with respect to the trajectory of the disintegrating particles and by measuring the level of ionization and the path of these products. It was found that the K/sup 0/ mesons from the reaction Z/sup 0/ yields K/sup 0/ + LAMBDA /sup 0/ + Q, where Q is the bond energy, being equal to about 40 Mev, yield effective mass (m*) values which lie within the range from 1.8 to 1.97 Bev, clustered primarily around the highest possible value of m* = 1.97 Bev.
