METHOD OF VULCANIZING RUBBER

A method is given for increasing the amount of radioinduced vulcanization of a rubber composition. The method comprises mixing 1.5 to 15 parts of an acrylate, diacrylate, or dimethacrylate compound with 100 parts of rubber and subjecting the mixture to a dosage of 4 to 40 watt-hours. Various compounds which may be used as the additive are given. (D.L.C.)
