Soluble models in many-body scattering and complex angular momenta
The interaction of a particle with a rigid rotator by means of a superposition of separable potentials is examined, and some exactly soluble cases are displayed. At any energy the continuation of the elastic amplitudes to complex angular momenta is shown to yield a meromorphic function in any finite region of the complex angular momentum plane. The inelastic amplitudes have simple kinematic cuts that are readily removable, leaving again a meromorphic function of angular momenta.
