PDQ-5--A FORTRAN PROGRAM FOR THE SOLUTION OF THE TWO-DIMENSIONAL NEUTRON- DIFFUSION PROBLEM. PART 1: STEADY-STATE VERSION

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4729873
The steady-state version of a computer program (PDQ-5) for solving the few-group, time-independent, neutrondiffusion equations for a heterogeneous reactor is described. The Fortran program permits up to five lethargy groups with either one or two thermal groups and restricts the product of groups and solution points to 250,000. The solution is obtained over a nonuniform mesh imposed on a rectangular region of the r-- z or x--y plane. (D.C.W.)
