The annual report of the CEA gives a survey of its activities with only an indication of the results of particular studies. The general structure and finances of the CEA are given. The activities summarized are the production of basic materials of nuclear industry, technological and scientific investigation (general physics, reactor physics, nuciear fuels, nuclear materials, chemistry, biology, health physics, and mineralogy), reactors, artificial radioelements, relations of the CEA with industry, international and public relationships, and teaching and training.
