A VENETIAN BLIND TYPE DYNODE FOR CHANNELLED MULTIPLIERS WITH FAST TIME RESPONSE
A Venetian blind-type dynode was developed for use in a cathode-ray switch tube with 11 channels of electron multiplication. The dynode has a rise time of 2 nsec for the output current pulse and less than 5% crosstalk to the channels adjacent to the one being scanned with an electron beam. A point-to- point plot of the trajectories from the departure dynode to the arrival dynode is given. (D.L.C.)
