DEBUNCHING OF THE BEAM PULSE FOR THE SYNCHROCYCLOTRON

Journal Article · · Japan. J. Appl. Phys.
DOI:https://doi.org/10.1143/JJAP.2.106· OSTI ID:4728790
A debuncher with half stochastic and half resonance acceleration was applied to the INS 160 cm synchrocyclotron. The resulting beam intensity was found to be almost unchangeable with time. The average beam current is 35% as large as it was before the debuncher was installed. (auth)
