MODEL OF THE HIGH FREQUENCY SYSTEM OF THE RING-SHAPED PROTON SYNCHROTRON (in Russian)
A calculation and experimental investigation are carrier out on a model of the high-frequency system of the ringshaped proton synchrotron having spiral variation of the magnetic field intensity. It is shown that in operation on the ninth frequency stage of proton rotation a possibility arises of constructing a high frequency system with accelerating elements in the form of drift tubes. This system has a frequency variator that ensures a necessary range of frequency overlapping of 8 to 25 Mc and an accelerating voltage of 2.0 kv/rev plus or minus 20% with small power of the highfrequency generator. This low-power operation is achieved as a result of resonance properties of the feeder lines connecting the drift tubes with the high-frequency generator. (auth)
