The extraction of uranium (VI), cenium, zirconium, and ruthenium by tri- iso-octylamine diluted in xylene from nitric acid solutions is investigated. Extraction coefficients of uranium (VI) and of the individual fission product elements are given under varied extraction conditions, such as salting agent (HNO/ sub 3/ or NH/sub 4/NO/sub 3/) concentration, amine concentration in the inert diluent, etc. (auth)
