NOTE ON UNITARY SYMMETRY AND LEPTONIC HYPERON DECAYS

The hypothesis of the unitary symmetry of strong interactions is applied to leptonic hyperon decays. The famous mass formula that agrees remarkably well with experimental masses of baryons and pseudoscalar mesons is given. This formula breaks down the unitary symmetry in a way consistent with this symmetry. (C.E.S.)
