A scintillator is described for the recording of slow neutrons obtained by sintering natural B/sub 2/O/sub 3/ with ZnS(Ag) at 640 un. Concent 85% C. The efficiency of 10 and 24 cm/sup 2/ scintillators with respect to slow and fast neutrons and gamma quanta amounts to 10, 0.1, and 10/sup -4%/, respectively.
