A NOTE ON THE 2320-Kev LEVEL IN Zn$sup 6$$sup 8$

Journal Article · · Canadian Journal of Physics (Canada)
DOI:https://doi.org/10.1139/p63-057· OSTI ID:4721837
The decay of Ga/sup 68/ was studied using scintillation coincidence spectrometers. Gamma rays with the following energies were observed: 510, 800 plus or minus 10. 1077 plus or minus 3, 1255 plus or minus 10, 1870 plus or minus 10, and 2320 plus or minus 20 kev. The 1870 and 2320 kev radiations were identified as crossover transitions to the ground state of Zn/sup 68/. The 2320 kev crossover transition was sought using a scintillation counter placed in a low background environment. (C.E.S.)
