RADIUM-226 IN BONE AND SOFT TISSUES OF MAN
Levels of Ra/sup 226/ in man due to natural environmental radioactivity were measured in pooled samples of bone and soft tissues from autopsy material. The findings indicate that about 80% of the body burden of Ra in man is contained in the skeleton. Chemical and counting procedures are described. (C.H.)
