Diffusion coefflcients in the system H/sub 2/O -HDO were measured at 5 to 45 un. Concent 85% C by the porous diaphragm cell method. In the temperature range 15 to 45 un. Concent 85% C, the experimental data are described by the equation D = 2.57 x 10/sup -2/ exp (-4162/RT)cm/sup 2//sec. Below 10 un. Concent 85% the diffusion coefficient is less than that following from the above equation, apparently owing to the closeness of the freezing temperature. The activation energy of diffusion in dilute aqueous solutions of Li/sup +/ and Na/ sup +/ ions is higher and for K/sup +/, Rb/sup +/, Cs/sup +/, C l/sup -/, Br/sup - /, and I/sup -/, lower than for the case of water.
