PREPARATION OF CARRIER-FREE $sup 131$I WITH ADSORPTION METHOD

S>A simple method for the preparation of carrier-free I/sup 131/ is proposed, in which iodine is separated from the target material by extracting on a platinum surface. The radiochemical purity of the product was checked by means of half-life measurement and gamma -ray spectrometry. Paper chromatographic determination indicated that most of the products were in iodide form. (auth)
