Magnetohydrodynamic equations were used for determining the effects of rectangular tubes and transverse magnetic fields on conducting turbulent flow. Formulas were developed for the total friction factor in magnetohydrodynamic flow, and correlations were made of theoretical and experimental data for a wide range of Re and M. (tr-auth)
