A Pt/sup 188/ sample was separated from the spallation products of gold irradiated with 660-Mev protons. The e/sup -/- gamma coincidences were measured on a double-focusing BETA spectrometer which was hooked up to a scintillation gamma spectrometer. The results showed that the 140, 380 and 410-kev gamma rays, and the K x rays were in coincidence with the L55 conversion eiectrons. The intensity of the x rays in coincidence with the L55 electrons indicated the absence of K capture at the 55-kev level of Ir/sup 188/ (and also at the upper 437- and 473-kev levels). The K195 conversion electrons made the principal contribution to the coincidences with the 280-kev gamma rays. There were no coincidences between the 187- and 195-kev quanta. The K140 electrons were in coincidence with the 280-kev gamma rays, and this indicated the presence of a cascade from the 470-kev level to the 195-kev level. The relative intensities of the gamma lines were compared with those of the Nuclear Data Sheets, N3 (1959), and were found to be in good agreement. The ratio of the electron conversion coefficients at the K shell are as follows; alpha (K/sub 140/) : alpha (K/sub 187/): alpha (K/sub 195/) : alpha (K/sub 280/) : alpha ( L/sub 380/) : alpha (K/sub 410/) : alpha (K/sub 470/) =
