DETERMINATION OF THE ACTIVITY OF COPPER IN LIQUID ALUMINUM-COPPER ALLOYS AT 1100 C (in French)

The activity of Cu at 1100 un. Concent 85% C in liquid Al-Cu alloys is determined by the study of the partition of this element between immiscible liquid metallic phases of Al- Pb and Al-Bi alloys. A corrective calculation was made in order to take into consideration the reciprocal solubilities of the solvent metals and their variations as a function of the concentration of the partitioned element.
