Polarization of Recoil Protons in 300 Mev $pi$-Meson Scattering on Hydrogen; POLARIZATSIYA PROTONOV OTDACHI PRI RASSEYANII $pi$-MEZONOV S ENERGII 300 Mev NA VADORODE

Recoil proton polarization was studied in e (as Fe/sup 59 meson scattering on hydrogen at 300 Mev. A hodoscope system with 800 Geiger counters was used for measuring elastic e (as Fe/sup 59 and proton scattering on carbon targets at 8 to 30 un. Concent 85% angles. 777 events of recoil proton scattering were found at 16 to 31 un. Concent 85% recoil angles. The results were tabulated and compared to published data. (R.V.J.)
