GAMMA RAYS FROM THE 992 Kev Al$sup 27$(p,$gamma$)Si$sup 28$ RESONANCE

Gamma-ray and coincidence spectra at the 992 kev resonance in the Al/sup 27/(p, gamma )Si/sup 28/ reaction were measured. A level scheme in Si/sup 28/ populated by this resonance is proposed. Moreover, the angular distributions for the 10.76 Mev and 1.77 Mev gamma rays were measured, and by means of these the conclusion that the resonance level at 12.54 Mev in Si/sup 28/ has the spin and parity 3/sup +/ is drawn.
