Effects of Atropine Sulfate on the Conditioned Aversion to Saccharin Fluid with X-Rays as the Unconditioned Stimulus
Conditioned aversion to saccharin in rats was obtained by using a single pairing of saccharin solution and x ray exposure. It was found that subcutaneous injections of atropine sulfate have no effect on conditioning aversion. An inverse relation was found between dose level and saccharin score in those animals receiving saccharin as the conditioned stimulus.
