TUNNEL-DIODES IN FAST CIRCUITS

A simple test circuit for the determination of tunnel diode parameters is described. Diagrams are shown of a scaleof-4 with a resolution of 200 Mc and a scale-of-5 with medium speed and low power consumption. Both scalers use Ge- tunnel diodes. The positive feedback inherent to tunnel diode amplifiers is discussed. (A.G.W.)
