Oscillation propenties of cesium and mercury vacuum diodes were studied. It was found that ion oscillations at minimum potential induced anode current oscillations in a vacuum diode with cesium vapor at low pressure and also caused low-frequency oscillations in glowing cathode discharge. (R.V.J.)
