ENERGY LOSS OF LIGHT IONS IN THIN METALLIC FOILS (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Radiotekhn. i Elektron.
OSTI ID:4706402
measurements were made of specific energy losses of 2 to 15 kev H, D, and He ions in passing through thin metallic foils. It was noted that at velocities from 2 x 10/sup 7/ to 2 x 10/sup 8/ cm/sec the main energy loss takes place during collisions with free electrons. (tr-auth)
