URANIUM SALTS IN NUCLEAR EMULSIONS SENSITIVE TO MINIMUM IONIZATION (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Pribory i Tekhn. Eksperim.
OSTI ID:4705013
Uranium fission fragments were recorded using 200 to 250 mu piates of NIKFI-R saturated with uranyl acetate. The developed loading and exposure methods permitted handling of 3 x 10/sup 18/ to 4 x 10/sup 18/ U nuclei per cm/ sup 2/. Moreover, a complete and uniform exposure with good sensitivity and particie discrimination was achieved for the total depth of the emulsion. (tr- auth)
