THE SOLVENT EXTRACTION OF FISSION PRODUCTS

The extraction of some typical fission products from HCl solutions with triisooctylamine is studied. Extraction curves for various RCl, carrier, and amine concentrations are given. The extraction method can be used for very high carrier concentrations. Extracted quantities are independent of carrier concentration up to 1 mg/ml. (Gmelin Inst.)
