Continuing earlier investigations, studies are made of the energy dependence of the cross sections of the following nuclear reactions produced by neutrons in the energy range from 12 to 19 Mev: P/sup 31/(n,2n)P/sup 32/, P/sup 31/(n, alpha )Al/sup 28/, (n,2n)Zn/sup 63/, Zn/sup 64/(n,p)Cu/sup 64/, V/sup 51/ (n,p)Ti/sup 51/, Br/sup 79/(n, alpha )A/sup 76/, and O/sup 1 6/(n, alpha )C/sup 13/. The results were compared with cross sections calculated according to the statistical theory, considering the competition of emission and particle (predominantly neutron) emission from the excited residual nucleus.
