(n,2n) REACTION CROSS SECTIONS FROM 12 TO 19.6 Mev

Cross sections for the Cu/sup 63/(n,2n)Cu/sup 62/, Zn/sup 64/ (n,2n)Zn/ sup 63 21/(n 2n)Sb/sup 120/ (T/sub 1/2/ = 16 min) reactions were measured at incident-neutron energies between 12 and 19.6 Mev. These cross sections were determined relative to the cross section for the of 14.4 Mev. The relative cross sections were expressed as absolute cross sections by using a value of 503 mb ction in DDT-C/ 7.3% fo-r the cross section of thr Cu/sup 63/(n,2n)Cu/sup 62/ reaction at 14.4 Mev. Some of the data were compared with the predictions of the compound-nucleus model. (auth)
