ENERGY TRANSPORT IN ELECTRON BOMBARDED CADMIUM SULFIDE SINGLE CRYSTALS

Journal Article · · Phys. Chem. Solids
It is demonstrated that for single crystals of cadmium sulfide under bombardment by electrons of energies from 1 to 50 kev x rays and excitons can play a significant role in the transport of energy. Experimental evidence demonstrating the separate roles of charge carriers, visible light x rays and excitons is given. (auth)
