THE LUMINESCENT EMISSION OF CADMIUM SULFIDE CRYSTALS EXPOSED TO ELECTRON BOMBARDMENT (in French)

Journal Article · · Compt. rend.
OSTI ID:4840055
In a series of studies on the luminescence of cadmium sulfide exposed to eleetron bombardment, it was found that the spectral distribution of the luminescent emission varies from one point to another of the irradiated surface. In a general fashion, a red emission and a green emission, as well as some zones emitting intermediate wave lengths, are observed. The temperature of the sample (up to 300 deg C) always causes an increase of the green light at the expense of the other wave lengths. (tr-auth)
