DECAY OF Cd$sup 115$(2.3d)

Journal Article · · Nuclear Physics (Netherlands) Divided into Nucl. Phys. A and Nucl. Phys. B
The decay of Cd/sup 115/ (2.3d) was studied by scintillation beta and gamma spectroscopy. The K-internal conversion coefficients of the 35 and 335 kev gamma transitions in the deexcitation of In/sup 115/ were measured to be 7.6 plus or minus 0.8 and 0.84 plus or minus 0.09, respectively. The BETA - gamma coincidences showed that the 590 and 860 kev beta branchings may be of an allowed and DELTA I = 2 unique forbidden types, respectively. From the angular correlation studies of the 35-492 kev and 230--262 kev cascades, 5/2/sup -/, 3/2/ sup -/ and 1/2/sup -/ or 3/2/sup -/ may be assigne d to the 597, 827 and 862 kev levels, respectively.
