CONTRIBUTION TO THE STUDY OF THE NUCLEAR DECAY SCHEME OF Sm$sup 15$$sup 1$ (in French)

The BETA and gamma radiation in the transition Pm/sup 151/ yields Sm/sup 151/ is studied. The gamma spectra decomposition indicates components of 65, 100, 170, 205, 240, 275, 340, 440, 650, and 715 kev. The BETA spectra are built up of five components of maxima energy 1300, 115, 960, 860, and 485 kev. The study of BETA gamma and gamma gamma coincidences leads to excited levels of Sm/sup 151/at 65, l00, lifetimes of levels at 65 and 100 kev are 5 x l0/ sup -10/and 10/sup -9/ sec respectively. The angular correlation coefficients of the following sequences are: 275 kev--65 kev: A/sub 2/ = 0.090 plus or minus 0.011, A/sub 4/ =0.078 plus or minus 0.011; 240 kev-100 kev: A/sub 2/ = 0.080 plus or minus 0.017, A/sub 4/ = 0.062 plus or minus 0.018; and 175 kev-165 kev: A/sub 2/ == 0.180 plus or minus 0.080, A/sub 4/=-0.057 plus or minus 0.081.
