LEVELS IN N$sup 15$ FROM B$sup 11$(/cap alpha/,p$sub 0$)C$sup 14$ REACTION

Journal Article · · Nuclear Physics (Netherlands) Divided into Nucl. Phys. A and Nucl. Phys. B
The angular distributions for the emission of protons from the B/sup 11/ ( alpha ,p/sub o/)C/sup 14/ reaction were measured in the energy region from 2.5 to 5.0 Mev alpha energy. The angular distribution in the energy region 3.2 to 4.5 Mev shows a very pronounced structure due to a large number of competing levels of opposite parity in the compound nucleus, N/sup 15/. The levels of N/ sup 16/ in the region of excitation 12.8 to 14.5 Mev were obtained. (auth)
