REMARK ON THE "GHOST" PROBLEM IN THE VACUUM POLE TRAJECTORY

The problem of the residue of the elastic nucleon-nucleon scattering amplitude at the leading vacuum or Pomeranchuk pole (P) when P passes through alpha = 0 is considered. The generalization of a symmetry relation in the nonrelativistic Regge method is used. (C.E.S.)
