On the Influence of Confinement on the Luminescence Mechanism (thesis); UBER DEN EINFLUSS VON HAFT-STELLEN AUF DEN LUMINESZENZMECHANISMUS

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4693263

The physical nature of confinement and its relation to the luminescence mechanism was studied. The investigations were carried out with uv, x, and cathode rays. For the measurement of short-time decay processes equipment with high resolving power was prepared. Results of investigations of cathode thermoluminescence, the luminescence of tungstates and molybdates, and the thermoluminescence of zinc oxide are presented. (M.C.G.)
