A STUDY OF THE REACTION $sup 12$C + $sup 12$C
The reaction C/sup 12/ + C/sup 12/ was studied at an incident laboratory energy of 123 Mev. Angular distributions of the emitted alpha particies and protons were obtained. These angular distributions yielded values of 2.6 450 deg C in a 0.3 and 1.5 450 deg C in a 0.2 barns for the total cross sections for alpha particle and proton production, respectively. (C.E.S.)
